Maya Peterson became the first black student body president at The Lawrenceville School, a highly-regarded boarding school in New Jersey. She eventually resigned after getting heat from fellow students and school administration for posting an Instagram photo mocking the average “Lawrenceville boi.”
Maya Peterson’s article for Time was amazing.
Brazilian model Alexandre Cunha was paired with a three-year-old moptop to showcase Smalto’s matching child-sized and adult tuxedos. Unfortunately, while the pressure of performing didn’t faze the buff Brazilian, his partner broke down in tears as they were striding the catwalk:
Once, I was supposed to close a show with a 3-year-old kid and we both had matching outfits. During rehearsal, everything went as planned, but on the day of the show he started crying halfway down the runway, so in my head I thought, “What am I supposed to do?!” I ended up picking him up and I carried him to the end of the runway.
I was walking home today and I found myself walking behind this beautiful boy. He didn’t have anything with him, he was just walking. I unintentionally followed him for about a mile and when our paths didn’t match anymore, I watched him walk away. He was the most interresting boy I had ever seen. I should have followed him. I should have asked him where he was going. I have a feeling his answer would have been “I don’t know”.
y’all weird as shit.
